For customers in regulated industries and life sciences, Tulip offers an LTS or long-term support release that is updated every 6 months. LTS 7 is the latest LTS offering from Tulip, and it will be available to customers now.

Tulip is introducing groundbreaking deployment options and features that will help our GxP customers implement and expand their systems more securely, faster, and with less risk.

  • Near 0-RPO for Mission Critical Data
Minimize the risk of lost mission-critical data, such as for eBR and eDHR, with Tulip’s innovative approach to zero RPO, leveraging the best of containerization and the cloud.
  • Display Device Management
Scale more easily by reducing the time it takes to deploy Tulip across hundreds of interfaces.
  • Restrict Controls for Operators
Improve the experience for operators using apps on the Tulip Player with new options for locking versions, servers, and data clearing.
  • New GxP Apps
The Tulip Library features several new downloadable apps and app suites including Security Incident Management, and Digital Systems Access Management.

Additional updates include CSV import, SMS for AWS Customer Cloud, as well as storing images in tables. Tulip customers can view a full list of updates and improvements for LTS 7 in the Release Notes section of the Tulip Docs.

0-RPO for Mission Critical Data

In the event of a system failure, there is a risk of significant data loss for companies when proper safeguards are not in place. For those operating in GxP environments, operations data including electronic records are mission-critical and any data loss can be extremely costly. The shorter the time between data recovery points and the more quickly the systems are recovered, the less data is at risk of being lost.

As a way to reduce the risk of data loss, GxP-regulated companies have resorted to expensive solutions including reducing the times between recovery points (more frequent backups) to seconds and storing duplicates of electronic records in two different physical locations. Traditional solutions have offered shorter times through very expensive means, often passing the bulk of those costs to their customers.

With Tulip’s approach, you can accomplish this without the cost of adding software or hardware layers to supplement the architecture.

Leveraging its multi-tenant cloud architecture, Tulip has developed a unique way of achieving minimal data loss and rapid recovery. Duplicate databases in multiple availability zones and incremental backups speed up the restoration of operations and make point-in-time recovery possible.

This feature is available to Tulip Enterprise Customers using the GxP package and is compatible with Tulip Public Cloud and Tulip Customer Cloud. Zero RPO is a last line of defense, adding to a robust security offering for Tulip customers.
