Hannover Messe — a leading annual professional trade show that brings together around 4,000 companies in the mechanical engineering, digital, electrical, and energy industries — will be taking place from April 17 to 21 in Germany. This year’s key topics include artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, carbon-neutral production, hydrogen and fuel cells, energy management, and Industry 4.0.

As one of the largest industry events worldwide, Hannover Messe provides an international platform for both exhibitors and attendees to connect on the latest digital trends and technological innovations.

This year, the Tulip team will be featured at the Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft booths — with live demonstrations of how our Frontline Operations Platform empowers frontline workers to make data-driven decisions with real-time production visibility.

Highlights From Last Year

Before we dive into what to expect at Hannover Messe 2023, let’s quickly recap all the exciting things that happened at last year’s event. In 2022, the Tulip team worked with various partners to provide interactive, in-person demos of our capabilities.

At Microsoft’s booth, we highlighted our integrations with Microsoft Teams, Hololens, Microsoft Cognitive Services, and Microsoft Dynamics — demonstrating how connected, no-code apps empower frontline workers to automate workflows and track production processes seamlessly. We also had the opportunity to showcase one of our success stories: how our partnership with Stanley Black & Decker empowered the organization to digitize and scale their manufacturing operations at their factories around the world.

At the AWS booth, we focused on edge connectivity — highlighting how Tulip’s Frontline Operations Platform leverages the AWS Cloud to share machine and device data in a scalable, secure way. We also had the opportunity to share how our edge connectivity functionality empowered one of our customers, Cartier/Richemont, to unlock valuable operational insights.

Lastly, at the ZeroKey booth, we demonstrated how our offerings work together to automate tasks for frontline workers — ultimately enabling them to focus on the most critical, high-value tasks.

What to Expect This Year

We’re kicking off Hannover Messe 2023 by hosting an evening reception from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 17. This event — which will take place at the Deutsche Messe Smart Factory Academy — will feature the Mobile Tulip Experience Center (mTEC) and provide an opportunity for guests to connect with industry colleagues over refreshments.

Then, throughout the week, Tulip will be featured in live, hands-on demos at the AWS and Microsoft partner booths — illustrating how our Frontline Operations Platform is the backbone of the new operations tech stack.

Amazon Web Services (Hall 15, Stand D74)

Join us at the AWS booth to see how our platform, powered by AWS, enables you to create dynamic, media-rich workflows that collect valuable real-time data from operators, machines, and devices.

Roey Mechrez, the head of AI at Tulip, will also be giving a presentation at the AWS Theater (Hall 15, Stand D74). Check out this session to hear one of our customer success stories: how Laerdal uses Tulip Vision to error-proof their medical kit assembly process.

Microsoft (Hall 17, Stand G06)

Stop by the Microsoft booth to see how Tulip’s no-code app builder, powered by Microsoft, enables you to digitize everything from work instructions to electronic batch records to quality inspection.

Here, we’ll be featuring our Complex Assembly and Inspection Demo, where you’ll be able to collect actionable data for compliance, production visibility, and traceability — and leverage that data to upskill frontline workers with guided workflow apps that increase efficiency while reducing errors.

At both the AWS and Microsoft booths, you’ll also be able to check out our Virtual Tulip Experience Center, where you can interact with a simulated plant running Tulip to see the value across the entire solution development lifecycle and operations tech stack.
