Tulip Announces AWS Industrial Software Competency Achievement

09/18/2018Tulip, the Frontline Operations Platform, announced today that it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Industrial Software Competency status. This designation recognizes that Tulip has demonstrated technical proficiency and demonstrated success in building software solutions targeting Industrial Production and Operations. These specialized software solutions enable companies in both continuous and discrete manufacturing industries to increase the pace of product innovation while decreasing production and operational costs in their value chain.

Achieving the AWS Industrial Software Competency differentiates Tulip as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member that has delivered proven customer success providing specialized solutions aligning with AWS architectural best practices to support their Manufacturing App Platform solution, which enables manufacturers to run their factories through apps that leverage the Industrial Internet of Things.

Tulip is proud to be one of the first APN partners to achieve AWS Industrial Software Competency status,” said Natan Linder, CEO. “Our team is dedicated to helping the manufacturing industry and workforce improve the way they work through our cloud-based platform.”

AWS is enabling scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions from startups to global enterprises. To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Partner Competency Program to help customers identify Consulting and Technology APN Partners with deep industry experience and expertise. To receive the AWS Industrial Software Competency designation, APN Partners undergo rigorous AWS technical validation related to industry-specific technology as well as an assessment of the security, performance, and reliability of their solutions.

Tulip’s frontline operations platform is being used by global organizations such as Merck, Jabil, and New Balance, to build apps to improve the way they run their factories. The platform’s intuitive drag and drop interface empowers engineers to digitize their processes to improve the productivity of their workforce, reduce mistakes throughout the shop floor and collect real-time operational data—without writing any code or implementing complex MES systems. Tulip offers flexible plans for organizations of all sizes. Being a cloud-based solution, manufacturers can use it from within their web browser, risk-free, with a 30-day free trial of the platform. Furthermore, they can start small and scale as needed. Earlier this year, Tulip launched Factory Kit, a quick-start kit that includes all the hardware and software manufacturers need to begin building IIoT enabled apps.
