Fall is here, and with it comes a new wave of updates to the Tulip platform.
This season, we’re announcing AI Agents, expanding AI Composer with general availability and template support, and adding App Diagrams to help you visualize your apps. We’ve also enhanced the Tulip Library with new content to accelerate digital transformation. These features are designed to help you build faster, collaborate smarter, and scale best practices across your operations.
Composable AI Agents: Accelerate Lean in Your Operations
Composable AI Agents are digital teammates that can perceive what’s happening, decide on the best course of action, and take steps to carry it out. With the new Agent Builder (Closed Beta), you can design agents that fit the needs of your operations — fully transparent, accessing only the data and tools you provide, and easily configurable.
Check out the eight pre-built agents in the Tulip Library, with more coming soon, spanning app development and quality, scheduling, and reporting use cases
OpsMoto: Operational Visibility, Simplified
Tulip is introducing OpsMoto, a new dashboard that brings your deployments, assets (Apps, Automations), and user activity into a single, unified view. By consolidating data from across instances and workspaces, OpsMoto makes it easier than ever to see what’s happening and act on it.
With OpsMoto, customers can uncover insights that improve productivity and efficiency, spot opportunities for optimization, and gain clarity into usage trends—all without the need to dig through individual instances. It transforms scattered data into decision-ready intelligence, helping teams move faster and focus on impact.

AI Composer: Available to All, Now with Template Support
Tulip’s AI Composer helps teams move faster by transforming existing SOPs and documents into interactive Tulip apps — cutting manual build time by up to 80% and freeing engineers to focus on improvements instead of setup. Now available to all users, AI Composer makes it easier than ever to standardize and deploy digital work instructions across teams and sites.
With the addition of template support, you can bring your own branded applications, logic, and best practices directly into AI Composer, ensuring every new app aligns with your organization’s standards. The result: faster builds, consistent workflows, and AI-powered apps that reflect the way your operations already run.
If you were at Operations Calling 2025, you likely got to see a demo of a video input, a new feature coming soon to AI Composer.

App Diagrams: Visualize and Share Your Tulip Apps Instantly
Building and maintaining Tulip apps just got easier. With App Diagrams, you can instantly generate a clear, interactive flowchart of any Tulip app—showing steps, triggers, transitions, table updates, and connector calls..
Instead of manually documenting complex logic, App Diagrams provide a living blueprint that updates automatically as your app evolves. Whether you’re designing new workflows, troubleshooting existing ones, or handing off apps across teams and sites, App Diagrams give everyone the shared context they need to collaborate faster and smarter.
From onboarding new teammates to streamlining audits, App Diagrams help transform how organizations understand, document, and optimize their digital solutions — accelerating continuous improvement at scale.
Tulip MCP: Smarter AI, Real Manufacturing Context
Say goodbye to disconnected AI experiments. With Tulip MCP, you now have a standardized, secure bridge between large language models (LLMs) and your Tulip data & workflows. MCP makes it possible for AI agents to fetch production stats, log defects, trigger workflows, or generate reports — using natural language — all while respecting your operational permissions and governance.
No more one-off scripts or brittle integrations. Tulip MCP turns your machines, tables, stations, and users into tools the AI actually understands, giving you faster insights, smoother automation, and real-time assistance — right where the work happens.
AI Prompt Actions: Automate Smarter, Not Harder
With AI Prompt Actions, Tulip automations go beyond simple alerts to take action in real time. By adding AI reasoning into your workflows, you can analyze data, categorize issues, generate insights, and trigger follow-up tasks automatically — based on prompts you define.
What’s New in the Library
We’ve expanded the Tulip Library with new applications and suites inspired by best practices from leading manufacturers. Designed to accelerate digital transformation, these resources help your teams build faster, work smarter, and scale proven solutions across operations
The Little Things
Sometimes, it’s the small changes that make a big difference. Last but certainly not least, we’ve got four little things that we think app builders will love:
