Russ Waddell kam 2022 als Community Lead zu Tulip , nachdem er seit 2007 für AMT - The Association For Manufacturing Technology gearbeitet hatte. Zuletzt leitete er das MTConnect Institute, eine Organisation zur Entwicklung von Standards für die Machine-to-Machine-Kommunikation in der diskreten Fertigung. Zuvor war er Industrieökonom bei AMT und hat einen BA in Wirtschaft vom College of William and Mary.
