Tulip Unveils the First-Ever Library of Configurable App Suites and Connectors for Frontline Operations

With the New Tulip Library, customers can accelerate their digital transformation efforts by starting their journey with out-of-the-box apps and connectors.

Somerville, MA, June 14th, 2021 - Tulip released a newly upgraded version of its downloadable content library now featuring app suites, connectors, and device drivers in addition to its easily configurable industrial apps, templates, and connectors to help manufacturers and operations teams accelerate their digital transformation. The library is the first of its kind.

For decades, manufacturing and other frontline industries have had to choose between inflexible systems that fail to keep up with dynamic environments or continue operating in an on-premise, paper-based, and analog reality.

Tulip’s no-code frontline operations platform removes IT bottlenecks and enables citizen development, allowing the teams closest to operations to own and update the systems that power their processes — while following company guidelines and fulfilling IT requirements.

“We allow companies to create and configure solutions that elevate their existing processes without locking them into vendor-specific data models and static applications that require heavy customization.” Natan Linder, CEO of Tulip said. “Instead of the inflexible modules and expensive system integration of legacy software solutions and automation, we provide a library of best practices with apps, app suites, and connectors that companies can quickly adapt without writing a single line of code.”

The Tulip Library allows users to get from business needs to value as quickly and as painlessly as possible. Tulip customers can explore apps for solving specific problems, app suites to provide larger multiple user systems and connectors for integrating with other systems. The customer can sign in, click a button, and get started configuring apps in their accounts.

“With the Tulip Library, our team has been able to find, download and implement apps that help us increase efficiency using industry best practices such as 5S and production tracking,” said Dave Staehle of RBW, a New York-based lighting manufacturer. “I look forward to seeing the Tulip Library grow with new apps and connectors.”

The new Tulip Library is now available at https://tulip.co/library. Check it out to explore dozens of benchmarked Tulip best practices, including 60 apps, 12 app suites, and 18 connectors, and 100 device drivers. This body of library content is constantly growing and improving as Tulip encounters new use cases and as new features enable more elegant ways of solving tough problems.
