Tulip Launches Validation Accelerator to Bring Quality Teams Into GxP Deployments From Day One

A focused, time-boxed engagement helps life sciences manufacturers align their existing validation procedures with a risk-based, app-by-app approach, so they can validate as they build.

SOMERVILLE, Mass., October 7, 2026: Tulip, the leader in Frontline Operations, today made its Validation Accelerator service available at Operations Calling 2026. Tulip validation specialists work directly with a customer's quality and validation teams to align existing procedures with Tulip's app-based, risk-based validation approach. They start early enough to shape how solutions are built, so quality is designed in rather than checked at the end.

For life sciences manufacturers, validation often decides how fast a new system reaches the floor. Many teams still validate the way they would a monolithic system: build everything first, then test it all at once, often after requirements have already changed. Tulip is different. Apps share one data model but can be added or changed one at a time.

“Validation shouldn't be the last step that holds up your GxP project. With Tulip, you validate each app as you build it, so quality keeps pace with development. When something changes, you revalidate that app, not the whole system. Our quality team works side by side with yours to set that up, so you move faster without giving up control of your validation," said Erik Mirandette, Chief Business Officer at Tulip.

The engagement is grounded in industry approved methodologies, including GAMP, Computer Software Assurance (CSA), and Validation 4.0. It works in three steps:

  • Learn. Customers complete Tulip University's Quality & Validation courses, then Tulip reviews their validation plan, SOPs, and templates ahead of a facilitated half-day workshop with quality, validation, and app-building stakeholders.

  • Collaborate. Together, the teams map current procedures to the Tulip’s approach, assign owners for key validation activities, and work through business risk for an agreed example app.

  • Execute. Customers receive three deliverables: a customized Validation Plan, draft risk assessment and test case artifacts for the example app, and a written memo with findings and recommended next steps.

Tulip piloted the Validation Accelerator with several life sciences customers, Customers keep ownership of their validation documentation, decisions, and approvals throughout. The Validation Accelerator is available now to new and existing Tulip customers, delivered remotely or on site on request.
