With Frontline Deployed Teams and AI Adoption Workshops, the people who run the floor build, own, and improve their own systems and AI agents.
SOMERVILLE, Mass., October 7, 2026: Tulip, the leader in Frontline Operations, today made two services available at Operations Calling 2026. Frontline Deployed Teams embed with a customer's operations team to deliver working systems on the plant floor. AI Adoption Workshops bring Tulip experts on site to help customer engineers build production-ready AI agents inside their own Tulip instance.
AI has made software easier to build. Keeping it working on a real line is still hard, because the knowledge that keeps a line running rarely makes it into process documents. Both services are designed so that the people who run the floor own the result. Both are available now.
Frontline Deployed Teams
Frontline Deployed Teams are groups of Tulip cross-functional experts: former manufacturing, process, and systems engineers who work across the physical and digital sides of an operation. They start with a site's biggest problem, deliver a working system, and expand one composable block at a time. They build alongside site staff, so local engineers understand, own, and adapt the software long after deployment. Tulip has Frontline Deployed Teams live across customer sites globally.
"Bespoke tools that only an outside engineer can adapt don't hold up in operations, where products, processes, and people are always changing. Our Frontline Deployed Teams don't just build tools. They build capabilities that drive real-world outcomes: throughput, quality, rework, the KPIs our customers care about. We've worked this way for years with our expert services team and certified partners. Now we're making it an explicit part of our services offering," said Erik Mirandette, Chief Business Officer at Tulip.
AI Adoption Workshops
AI Adoption Workshops are on-site, hands-on sessions inside the customer's own Tulip instance, tailored to each team's AI maturity. Participants bring quantified shop-floor challenges, such as defect review, shift handoffs, and launch-readiness checks, and build auditable AI agents with human oversight built in. Run jointly by Tulip's product and customer teams, the workshops feed directly into Tulip's roadmap. Teams that want to try capabilities before general release can also apply to the AI Early Adopter Program.
"AI is a great teacher, but it can only teach you about what it knows, and it doesn't know your production system. Your engineers do. These workshops put the two together on a real problem, and that's where AI stops being a demo and starts running on the floor," said Mason Glidden, Chief Product and Engineering Officer at Tulip.
All Operations Calling 2026 announcements are in the flagship release.
