Tulip Acquires AI Company Akooda to Accelerate AI-Driven Operations Intelligence

Akooda team and technology to boost Tulip’s integrated AI capabilities for smarter, more agile operations.

BOSTON, Mass. — November 18, 2025 — Tulip, the leader in frontline operations platforms, today announced the acquisition of Akooda, a Boston and Tel Aviv-based artificial intelligence company focused on contextual enterprise data and real-time operational visibility. This acquisition strengthens Tulip’s commitment to delivering operations-first integrated AI capabilities and will accelerate the company’s roadmap for AI-driven intelligence.

Founded in 2021, Akooda developed a platform that contextualizes enterprise data to surface insights on workflows, performance bottlenecks, and decision points at scale. Akooda’s team brings deep expertise in AI, large language models, and enterprise search technologies, capabilities that directly strengthen Tulip’s mission to empower frontline workers with intelligent, composable tools.

“Tulip and Akooda share a vision of bringing AI to the factory floor in a way that amplifies human decision-making,” said Natan Linder, CEO and co-founder of Tulip. “By joining forces with Akooda’s exceptional team, we’re accelerating our efforts to make AI tools a reality for every operator, technician, and engineer. Together, we’re advancing the future of human-centered AI for operations.”

The Akooda team, led by Yuval Gonczarowski (CEO) and Itamar Niddam (CTO), will join Tulip’s AI and Product organizations, working closely with the company’s engineering team in Munich. The group will continue operations in Tel Aviv, expanding its presence in the region to support Tulip’s innovation efforts.

“We built Akooda to make organizations more intelligent by connecting people and data through AI,” said Yuval Gonczarowski, Akooda CEO and incoming leader within Tulip’s product organization. “Joining Tulip allows us to bring that vision to the heart of manufacturing and operations, where real-time intelligence can have the greatest impact.”

This acquisition reinforces Tulip’s commitment to Composable Operations, a new paradigm for digital transformation that empowers enterprises to continuously evolve through modular, adaptable technologies. By integrating Akooda’s AI capabilities, Tulip aims to accelerate its next-generation frontline operations platform, providing real-time industrial intelligence that helps teams make better, faster, and safer decisions.
